Doing business with hair salons in Japan

Stylists are busy with clients all day, so the owner is often hard to reach. Salon owners care about repeat customers and staff hiring, and respond well to proposals about reducing portal fees or improving their Google Maps profile.

Weekday mornings before opening or quiet weekday afternoons work best. Avoid weekends, December and the March graduation season.
